Kim Levin — Purpose-Driven Leader | Expert in Growth & Innovation

Kim Levin is the founder and CEO of Sterrett Levin, Inc., a California-based company developing Watermaven—an intelligent smart irrigation solution designed to help homeowners and businesses reduce water waste, save money, and simplify landscape management.

With over 20 years of executive leadership experience, Kim has earned a reputation as a strategic growth expert who bridges innovation with impact, transforming companies across a wide range of sectors—from consumer goods and home décor to building materials and emerging smart irrigation technologies—bringing strategic clarity and sustainable growth to each.

Before founding Sterrett Levin, Inc., Kim served as Vice President of Revenue at a smart irrigation startup, where she built and led the company’s sales, marketing, and operations during a critical growth phase. Her experience revealed significant gaps in the market—particularly in affordability, retrofit compatibility, and connectivity—which ultimately inspired her to establish Sterrett Levin, Inc. and develop Watermaven as its flagship innovation.

Kim’s career includes leadership roles at a $1.4 billion pool supply distributor, where she drove enterprise sales growth and national partnerships, as well as senior roles at Regal Art & Gift, Poolmaster, and TFI, where she delivered award-winning innovation and exponential sales growth. She has also contributed to growth-stage initiatives at companies such as Touch of Modern, Tria Beauty, and Zinus, providing revenue strategy and go-to-market leadership during pivotal moments.

A believer in the power of purpose, Kim is known for her empathy-led leadership and her ability to unify teams around shared goals. She began her career as a plant manager while raising two young children on her own—a defining chapter that sharpened her grit and grounded her approach to leadership.

Beyond the boardroom, Kim is deeply committed to service. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Parentis Foundation, where she contributes to the Donor Stewardship Committee, supporting literacy programs for at-risk youth. She has also volunteered with Tri-Valley Haven, Make-A-Wish Greater Bay Area, Saint John's Program for Real Change, and the Riverhead Lions Club.

Whether building a business or supporting her community, Kim Levin leads with intention, curiosity, and a belief that meaningful innovation begins with purpose.
